While I was studying Korean the other day, I found a new word: "sarangni." It means "wisdom tooth" in English, or "oyashirazu" in Japanese. Wisdom teeth usually come in late, and all three words show that. The Korean word comes from "love." It means that you don't get these teeth until you learn to love. The English word means that you don't get these teeth until you have wisdom. The Japanese word means that the parents don't know when the teeth come in. The idea is the same in the three languages, but the way to say it is different in each language.
