Yesterday was the fourth day of the July Grand Sumo Tournament. The July tournament is usually held in Nagoya, but due to the coronavirus, they decided to have it in Tokyo. They thought that the wrestlers would be safer if they stayed in one place. The sumo stables are located in the Tokyo area, and that is where the sumo wrestlers live and train. This is the first time since January that people can go and watch the bouts, so I'm sure that the wrestlers are happy to hear the cheers and clapping from the stands after each bout.
